Wildlife Photographic Talks with Yorkshire Wildlife Photographer Paul Miguel
Many Photography Clubs and Natural History Groups have enjoyed my photographic presentations over the years. Talks last around one and a half hours but can be appropriately tailored to suit the audience. Please note: I will need use of a digital projector to which I will connect my laptop.
Do I show lots of birds on sticks?
Well the answer is definitely ‘No’. I provide a lot of background information including stories behind the images, the locations – and some of the thinking that goes into creating images of a certain style. I try to mix in a variety of images and include technical information for photographers. For Wildlife groups, such as the RSPB, I talk more in depth about the species and habitats.
2020: £100 plus 40 pence return mileage from Leeds.
‘Immersed in Nature: A Wildlife Photographer’s Year’
Throughout the year I split up my time into regular projects and opportunistic photography. I explain the importance of knowing your subject, timing and weather conditions. I also share my experiences of specific projects photographing abroad. This talk includes a range of birds, mammals and insects.
‘Discovering Serbia’s Wildlife & Landscapes’
Serbia is relatively undiscovered by photographers but this landlocked country is a true gem. I’ve visited Serbia over the past 4 years, photographing its remarkable wildlife and pristine untouched landscapes. In this talk I also share many of my experiences of the wonderful Serbian culture.
