I became interested in wildlife at a young age. Once in my early teens I began trying to photograph birds at local nature reserves, starting out with a Russian Zenit! My Grandparents were instrumental in fostering my interest and I owe them a great deal of thanks for encouraging me to chase my dream. In 2000 I completed a Zoology degree and I now work as a Professional freelance Wildlife & Landscape Photographer. I live in Leeds with my partner Carrie-Anne a talented web designer and Author Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I have some wonderful locations on my doorstep and am just a short drive from the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

It’s hard to know what my next obsession will be. So far I’ve immersed myself in the lives of breeding Red throated Divers and roosting Long eared owls.
